Information About Hooking A TV to a Computer:

There is a less expensive option!  Using a converter, images from your computer can be viewed on a large screen television for about $180.00. A well-reviewed converter is the Averkey 300Gold 1600x1200 Scan Converter manufactured by Avermedia Inc. It is distributed by Troxell Communication. This is a device that will convert the video’s output to TV style video input. Investing in this type of hardware will expand what you can do with technology when only one computer and a television monitor are available.
